Privacy Policy

This policy covers casinotopacio.net, an independent information site. It explains what information is processed when you visit these pages, why, and what choices you have. It does not cover the websites of casino operators that our links lead to: once you leave this site, the operator's own privacy policy applies.

What we collect

You can read every page of this site without creating an account or giving us your name. We do not run registration forms, do not take payments and do not store gambling data of any kind. The information processed falls into three groups:

Why we use it

Technical data keeps the site available and protects it from abuse such as automated attacks. Usage statistics show which guides are useful and which need rewriting. Emails are used only to answer you or to correct a page you reported. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it to build gambling profiles.

Cookies and analytics

The site may use analytics cookies, for example from Google Analytics, to count visits and clicks in aggregate. These cookies do not contain your name. Your browser lets you block or delete cookies at any time, and blocking them does not prevent you from reading the site. When you click a partner link, the partner network may set its own cookies to record that the visit came from this site; those cookies are controlled by the network and the operator, not by us.

How long data is kept

Server logs are kept for a limited period needed for security and troubleshooting. Analytics data is kept in aggregated form according to the retention settings of the analytics tool. Emails are kept as long as needed to deal with the request and then deleted, unless we need them to document a correction.

Your rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to its use. To make such a request, write to info@casinotopacio.net. Because we hold very little personal data, in most cases the only item we can identify is your own email correspondence.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection through a hosting and content delivery provider with standard protection against attacks. Access to the email inbox is limited to the editor. No system is perfect, which is one more reason this site does not ask you for sensitive information.

Third parties

Our hosting provider, the analytics tool and the partner networks behind affiliate links process some data under their own policies. Where these providers are based in other countries, data may be transferred abroad under their own safeguards. Operator websites you visit through our links have their own privacy policies, which you should read before registering.

Changes to this policy

If the way this site handles data changes, for example because a new tool is added, this page will be updated. Significant changes will be reflected in the text itself rather than hidden in a footnote.

Cookies on operator sites: what to expect

Casino sites usually set more cookies than an information site: login sessions, language and currency preferences, fraud prevention, marketing and affiliate tracking. A cookie banner should let you refuse non-essential categories. Essential cookies, such as the one that keeps you logged in, cannot be switched off without breaking the site.

If you want to limit tracking, refuse marketing cookies on the operator's banner, use your browser's privacy settings and log out at the end of each session. Clearing cookies will log you out but does not affect your balance or limits, which are stored on the operator's side.

Personal data at an operator: what is collected and how to protect it

To open a real-money account, an operator collects identity data (name, date of birth, address), contact data, payment details and, during verification, copies of documents. It must also record your bets and transactions. Its privacy policy should say where that data is stored, how long it is kept, who it is shared with (for example payment providers or identity check services) and how to make a data request. Read it before sending documents.

On your side, upload documents only through the operator's own account area, never by chat links or messaging apps. Check that the address bar shows the operator's real domain over HTTPS, use a unique password and two-step login, and ignore messages that ask for your password or verification codes. If you close an account, ask in writing what will happen to your documents.
