USDT at Topacio: a stable value on more than one network
USDT (Tether) is a stablecoin designed to track the US dollar, which removes most of the price swing that comes with bitcoin. It brings a different risk instead: the same token exists on several blockchains, and sending it on the wrong one is the most common way people lose a crypto deposit. Whether USDT is listed in the Topacio cashier for your account is for the cashier to show; available methods and limits depend on the operator and your account. Here is how to handle it in both directions.
Depositing USDT
When you pick USDT in a cashier, you are usually asked to choose a network as well — for example a Tron-based (TRC20) or an Ethereum-based (ERC20) version, or others the cashier lists. The deposit address you receive belongs to that network. Your wallet must send on exactly the same network; an address can look valid on another chain and still be the wrong destination.
Before sending, check four things: the network in the cashier, the network selected in your wallet, the address (copy and paste, then compare the first and last characters) and the minimum deposit shown for that network. A deposit below the minimum may not be credited. The network fee is paid in the network's own coin, so your wallet may need a small balance of that coin besides the USDT.
Credit happens after the confirmations the cashier specifies. If the cashier shows a transaction ID field or a «payment sent» button, use it; it speeds up matching.
Withdrawing USDT
On the withdrawal tab you choose the network and paste a USDT address on that same network from a wallet you control. Exchanges often support several networks but not all; if you withdraw to an exchange address on a network it does not support, the coins may be lost or take a long manual recovery. Check the exchange's deposit page before requesting the payout.
The operator reviews and approves the request; then the transaction is broadcast, and you can follow it on a blockchain explorer with the transaction ID. The operator's stated timeframe is in the cashier or its withdrawal terms. Network fees on withdrawal may be deducted from the amount — compare the amount requested with the amount received.
The peg, briefly
«Stable» describes the design, not a guarantee. A stablecoin aims to keep its value close to the dollar, and in normal conditions it does, but it is issued by a private company and its value can deviate. If your casino account is in another currency, the cashier converts at its own rate at the moment of deposit and withdrawal; read that rate on the confirmation screen.
What protects you
Like any blockchain payment, a USDT transfer cannot be charged back. Your protection is your records: the transaction ID, the network, the deposit address shown in the cashier and a screenshot of the cashier screen. If a confirmed deposit is not credited, support needs exactly those items. Where online gambling has no local regulator, those records also feed every later step — the operator's complaints process, the ADR service named in its terms and the regulator behind the foreign licence it declares.
